There was a covered one wandering alone in the tundra, lost.
Covered ones don't have the thick coat that protects us. Their senses are too dull to find food or shelter. And thus they die, either by tundra, or us.
This covered one carried many valuable things. Tough bow and shiny stone blades. Invaluable things, in fact.
So my brother and I began the tracking.
Perhaps we had to wait until the tundra claimed its life. But it looked so cold, so tired. An easy prey. So my brother, my impatient brother, my poor brother, leaped, only to be struck down by… something.
Hence now I stand here, confronting the covered one. May the spirits of my ancestors help me slay this thing so my brother’s soul may rest in peace.
A doodle based on my fictional world, inspired by a weird dream I had. The dream was a rather unpleasant one, and I woke up startled from it in fact. I fell asleep without turning off MP3 player, and Arabic Winter playing in my ears in loop didn’t help when I woke up.
