One of my most fortunate shots of the year, 3-year-old Adia was feeling her usual frisky and playful self and decided to stalk-pounce 13-year-old Hubert as he was walking up.
"Gotcha!"
Every so often the she will crouch down on her haunches as if she's stalking an antelope in Africa... I saw the action ready to unfold so I positioned myself, got everything ready and was lucky the one shot I got of Adia completely off the ground turned out crystal clear
I have recently compiled my 12 best lion photos of the year to make my annual Lions calendar, and I'll be sharing the ones I haven't posted yet over the next couple weeks. If anyone out there is interested in buying a calendar they are $15 (barely covers cost of printing and binding) or $20 for really nice thick cardstock paper. I'll post a journal about it when all the photos are up

Pretty tough to manage a shot like this. That is cool, 'Jani. Of course, without the text to go with it, you wonder if one is jumping upon the other or if the other is head-butting from underneath, hehe. You seem to know the lions by name, you know them personally... or.. well... lionily, that is.
