Hm, is it true that the maximum image size is 1280 pixels?
It's not okay.
Anyway, I love Sim City 4... I like the idea of having complete control over a big city and, occasionally, playing havoc with it with a giant robot. Or an earthquake. Or a meteor.
I've been playing one city a while and reached a population of over 85.000 before the whole traffic system collapsed. but I like it. Very much.
Sim City Societies sucks, however. Big time.
This little comic should have been a few panels bigger but I don't think I'll be working on it anymore... It has been lying around as far as it got for the past 2 weeks, so I'm uploading it now.
Another attempt at humor failed. Shame.

I don't think this is a failed attempt of humor, I really think it is funny. And although it would have been interesting to see the other panels you intended to do I think you can successfully call it quits here as the punchline worked well for me.
Overall a nice humorous piece of work, no need to feel ashamed :D

No but dark helmet did. ;) "Spaceballs"
Very cool Coatl, the perspectives are actually really neat. And it looks like the mayor plays pretty hard from his hair, it looks mopping wet like he was really going there.
And I could see this pertaining to one of our own. I don't think anyone anywhere has had the thought of Bush playing with toys escape them.
oh and...

Roads have a limited capacity, as do subways and trains. Overstepping this capacity brings problems like pollution and traffic noise. That, in turn, leads to lower desirability.
But I guess I know where you're heading with this question: Why not let a working system regulate itself?
The problem is: As a mayor, you don't want to hear them complaining over everything. If they complain. they move away. As a mayor, you don't want them to move away, so you try to do everything right, as far as your possibilities allow you to do. If they still complain and move away, you fail.
The problem with the traffic system is: You can't simply revise it after a hundred years that your city developed. It requires planning from the start. That's the diffcult part. And, like in every complex computer game (irrelevant how simple it may seem in the beginning), that's what requires training.
You should see it :B ...!

Yeah, traffic is a pain in the ass to maintain. I hate how clunky and difficult the highway system is too.
I think the trick is to build a nearby city with preplanned highways and roads and junk, and then all the heavy residential and CS$$ and $$$ stuff will move there, so the previous city can quiet down into a suburb.
