My Grandparents do. Their really big animal lovers. (About the only thing I share with them anymore.)
She was a stray that my Grandparents found wandering around their neighborhood. The poor dear had been pumped full of buckshot from where she had been shot.
My grandparents took her in and got her fixed up and in a good home.
