Seat of War (Instrumental)
A solemn, somewhat ominous melody done in the minor keys. One of my older pieces done using reFX Nexus.

This is pretty sweet. I actually get a lot of images from this one.
The first minute or so sounds perfect for a safe room song in a Resident Evil game.
At 1:30 it sounds a lot like a story progressing song for a Silent Hill game
and after 2:30 it sounds a lot like a song for a nightmare dungeon in Alundra.
Overall I really like it, nice man.

this is the site I use to get free sound samples. I used it to get a lot of motorcycle drive by samples once.

sorry for spam, but actually, I turned down the volume on this song and then in a separate tab had the thunder sample play at ~26-27 seconds and it sounded perfect for me. Samples are real easy to drag and drop from the windows folder where you download it to directly into FL Studio. I think the thunder would give this song an OOMPH of emotion right before the chorus.
This song is so full of feeling. It speaks of loss and contemplation. Will this tragic drive through the rain and flashing city lights end with a fatal choice, or is there hope left for a new beginning? The final pages of this tale are hidden in black... white... and the fateful tune of the lonely piano. Brilliantly composed, my friend.
Funny you should mention that. It was composed for near the end of my story, which will probably never be finished mind you, where the antagonist finds himself at the seat of a great war that scars the earth and once again begins to consume it. Up ahead lies the place where he must go, where all dragons leave their marks on fate; The Dragon Graveyard. Admittedly I'm quite lazy when it comes to writing; I find myself on my studio, working, or playing tri. =/
And of course as I always blandly state in words so repetative they fill the ears with the tintinnabulation of memorization: Many thanks! =)

To be honest, English was my favorite subject and as such I excelled (funny how you tend to achieve far greater and with far less efford [or so it seems] when you enjoy the subject), that and spent four years in English Honors in High School and the standard Honor Roll in gradeschool; interestingly enough my middle school had nothing spare for the sports programs and other activities that were far from suited to my tastes in curriculum. Of course, I never have a reasonable excuse to use my vocabulary and, as such, it has suffered; however, I shall once more endevour to break through the chains of laziness and not only brush up, but expand my knowledge of words. Writing my trilogy will require more than words for without the motivation to work on it, the figurative soul of the story will forever remain on the backburner road of perdition, forever doomed to meander the limbo that is my mind. And I would say, considering I don't consider my songs remotely professional or all too special that yes, I am my worst critic.
