Okay okay put away your pitchforks, I know its not furry art. But I wanted to show it off anyway cuz I rather like how it turned out. :p

for use as a christmas card to hand out to her fellow Starbucks employees. She wanted me to do something with the mermaid seen in the logo and to give it an art-nouveau flair.
I actually had quite a bit of fun working on this - it reminded me a lot of the type of art I used to do before I got into furry, back when mermaids and faeries were a regular thing for me. I don't draw humanoids very often anymore and it always feels a bit strange, but in this case I think it turned out pretty good. Was also fun working with a color pallette that reminded me of coffee drinks. n_n
The Starbucks mermaid is © Starbucks, this is just my spin on her. ;)

Narcissistic Starbucks enthusiastic fact: It's a siren, not a mermaid, because she has two tails.
This is a gorgeous drawing though! I love how everything is in browns and golds instead of green, and I love the way you designed the scales and tail. I'm sure this'll be a big hit around the Starbucks staff!
