That doesn't look like much of a mess. I often sprinkle baby powder on the carpet then vacuum it up anyways. The ripped toilet paper...big deal, I have cats. This is harmless fun. I'm sure some people would be like "grr..darned kids...grr" but wait until you make the mistake of introducing finger paints to that beige shag carpet. I can almost guarantee that carpet will be stained within a week if there are kids involved.
