Cheirolantern's, a race of nocturnal bats that dwell within the scary place. Like many others of the caverns inhabitants, they are a danger to other beings and adventurers that travel into the underground tunnels. The Cheirolanterns are vampiric and carnivores, drinking of blood and dining on meat and flesh, however physically they are not highly dangerous themselves and quite weak.

Cheirolantern's earn their meals through trickery to sentient's and curious creatures. They are able to create flames from their life force to illuminate the caverns, tricking creatures and adventurers to seeking their light out in thought of escape or lost souls. Once they lure their target about, they eventually lead them to one of the numerous deathly falls that are about the darkness of the caves, from there they are able to dine to their devilish hearts content.

It should be noted, that the Cheirolantern's are a dual birthing race, when one is born, a "twin" is born as well, this creature is actually part of a second race of peaceful bat like creatures that inhabit floralia forest.
