I heard that some women in the past that cut-off their breast to be a better bowman... but is it true?

It's the legend of amazones (i remembered that they were buring it instead of cutting...).
In fact there is a position that allow breasty women to use a bow. it's this arms position i use in my drawing. At the difference she is aiming up so she don't need to accentuate the position that much.

It's more a question of comfort and precision if your breast is to important but it's not exclusive to women, men uses it also.

i'm not a specialist, it's what i remember from people practicing this sport so it may be no that accurate.
