The original file I put up here was too large and didn't seem to download properly. Unfortunately I had composed this with the Type Tool in Photoshop, so there was no way to make a Word Doc of it other than paste the tiff file into a blank document, resulting in nearly 3 meg file. So I've decided to post a reduced image file instead. It's still 600k, but it has to be that large if its to be legible.
The original comments read:
"Dr. Morningstar is a German author of crank books who moved to the U.S. just before the Second World War, and enjoyed a brief popularity with SF fans in California. Only one problem... as you read along you should gradually realize that it isn't the same history as the real world.
I don't know whether or not anyone should enjoy this. I wrote it to amuse myself in an exercise of maknig something make-believe seem like it might be real."

They were constructed as best I could from an on-line German-English dictionary, but the trouble with that sort of thing is that you can never get the grammatical transformations right. Damn it! Why do some languages have to tinker with the syntax of nouns as well as verbs?
