I've been watching alot of the Funimation released animes.
RIN daughters of Mnemosyne and BIRDY the Mighty helped me design these outfits.

In Birdy the mighty, the nonearthling characters wear alot of awesome clothes that aren't really worn and more like draped/attached to their forms. Birdy's out police uniform reminds my of a swimsuit/C-string combo. During her flashbacks as a child, most of her clothes had that same appeal, loose, attached/draped. I liked out free flowing it was, yet not sexual or revealing during battle. (Amazing I know!) This is where I chose the top and waist clothing.

In Rin, the later episodes that are set in the distant 'future', have very sexy/open clothing(at least for the character I chose, Mishio Maeno) She wore pants that clicked to her shirt, leaving much of the hips and sides exposed. This is where I chose the pants. I attached the boots to the pants. Since Tin does not need comfort but more function, this is a varying version of her Cadet uniform. It comes with a jacket that has gloves attached so when she's not on the field, there is no reason to expose her Mechanics to the elements.
