Meet Awacs.
A completely nanite-based entity, it exists as one and as a multitude at once. Mesh computing, extreme durability, resiliency, adaptability all in one package. Oh and there's also that whole grey goo thing, but that's probably nothing to worry about. Probably. Report rogue drones as soon as you lose control of your body and mind.
And yes, it is faceless. The body can be adapted into any number of sensory instruments, eyes can be anywhere, everywhere if needed. A mouth is unnecessary when your body can be formatted as a speaker; eating when needed is accomplished by simply engulfing and absorbing requisite materials.
The accent lines in blue are in essence indicators for data transfer and a gauge of computational power usage - brighter lights, brighter shades, faster pulses, more data, more usage. As a secondary function they also serve as an indicator for emotions and reaction, for lack of facial expressions.
