A wonderful piece I commissioned from Mr Ebony Leopard, from his Extinctioners comic. Rapier is a "Tracker" and a bad girl, likes to play with knives. As said in her desc she dyed her throat feathers red to make her look more...BUTCH.

Species: Ruby Throated Humming Bird (Archilochus colubris))

Weight: 90 lbs.
Body Fur/scale/skin Color: Emerald green back and wings, Black scaled legs to body, with bird like feet, grey underbelly she had dyed her throat feathers Ruby (Makes her look "Butch") rest of her body is feathered. With a Hummingbird tail.
Hair Longer green feathers from the head down her back
Eye color: Blue
Costume secondary Color (Primary color for Ex uniform black, primary color for Tracker uniform Gray): Tracker: Secondary color black sleeveless legless body suit (Leather?) with profoundly plunging neck line.
Additional Physical feature:(like chest size for females, body proportions):Fencer build, Wings on back (Separate from arms) "B" Cup breasts Black slender beak, hands to wrists are the same as her legs
Item/Weapon if any: Eppe Sword (Right hand) and poniard (Left hand) with thigh sheath for poniard and frog with sheath for eppe
Powers: Ability to "Dart" at incredible speed (not able to run/fly fast but may make a series of short bursts) Beak is able to be harder then steel (used as another sword...thrusts only but can thrust thru any material) Ability to hover in place. Rapier is a tracker Assassin, Will make friends easily, doesn't advertise (Goes on reputation you want her you must FIND her) will kill her own mother or siblings for the right price. Rapier is unable to speak (mute, but can use her wings to "synthesize" words)

Well *IF* you can find her, and *IF* you can afford her price, and *IF* you survive the encounter. Rapier is "Big Guns" and she has Eccentric tastes... Money might not charge ONLY money....
Once you meet Rapier (If you meet her at all..normally she handles things thru an intermediary and you never see who is Guarding you, though she always remains QUITE close) you only leave 1 of 2 ways....

Aye, they are small but that just means that pack a LOT into a small package.
yes if your going to "hire" her, you have to be sure that #1 that you NEED her level, and #2, realize that she is a professional..meet her demands, no problem..."bother" her or come up short...well for her that no problem either

that would be an interesting question. (Could her beak pierce titanium) I try not to "over power" my characters (and by the way, thank you for the compliment of my making a great character) As over powered characters are boring (think Superman with no Kryptonite)
My thought would be, she must have some limit.... maybe she can crack, or dent the titanium (depending on thickness) leaving her dazed or unconscious?
Of course as an Assassin, she woudl not attack at the strength,,,, your character...does he have normal eyes? a sharp beak lanced thru an eye would be lethal....is he always titanium...given a choice she woudl wait for him to be in a more "squishy" form.
By the way, like most hummers, she is fascinated by the colour red...yes bright BLOOD red ;)

Well, his ordinary self, at least; his Aldenian counterpart is not so sweet.... AKA Devastator, he can vary his molecular density and rechannel energy (ordinarily as eye beams but can also turn to flight or augmented strength): he now has his own team, The Marauders.

Hmmmmmm the 2 abilities does sound a bit like what would happen if the Irresistible force met the immovable object....I do know I did not make Rapier's ability to be without limit, I mean she can not "dart" and bore thru an entire planet, by the same token it sounds like if your character became dense enough, he could form a black hole....So I imagine a limit there as well.......Sounds in an all out brawl that they would problem either stalemate or mutual death (Which Rapier really is not into) Off the cuff I'd say Devastator might become a love interest for Rapier... ;)

She is the first result from the schematics a of a story 10 years after the riginal events.: under the cover of the zany and well known experiments, somebosy unknown put into action the so called Manticore Directive: Experiments designed specifically as battle machines for every branch of military activity: Living fighters, spies, intelligence gatherers, commandos... as Dragonfly goes, her palms and plants have suction cups... and she is strong enough to tear apart an Abrams tank turret... and carry it with her.
This was a very complecx piece (for my skill levels) but enjoyed doing it.

*shrugs* I tend to take a more..balanced approach. I love to roleplay (if i could ever find a partner) and I find the antagonist to be a HELL of a lot more fun then the protagonist. I like passion, so yes sometimes Characters get raped....and the bad guy gets away with it...but an antagonist does NOT have to mean they kick every puppy and slaughter everyone..they can actually form bonds and be loyal....
