Had some ideas and experimented.
One thing I love about drawing 'fantasy' is that there are no rules and it doesn't have to make any sort of sense.

I think so, too. The head it definitely my favourite part.
Surprisingly, it was the simpliest part too, I barely had to refine it after the initial sketch.
Which excites me, since I'm usually pretty bad a faces. Usually, I leave the head for last, but with this, the face was the very first thing I drew. Either I'm getting better or just lucked out.
