Photographed in gray scale to show the depth most. I know earlier this year I did an updated canine but it was not the style I was wanting. It was.. not wolf enough for me. I wasn't getting into the groove of anything with fur yesterday so I grabbed my clay and a miscast and sat down and started sculpting, looking at wolf taxidermy head forms, taxidermy/hunting photos of canids that have been skinned (as gross as it sounds, those were the most helpful as it showed muscle and bone structure) as well as looking at a skull I have at home and a taxidermy coyote head form. About 12 hours later this is the result.
This sculpt will be molded later today, one of the casts will be used for a hyena commission coming up. Some padding will be required, but I am much more confident in this shape. I finally have a solid wolf!
The groove on either side of the eyes is for LED wires if any are needed. The idea was sparked when I saw one of
Drakonicknight 's sculpts with a similar and thought I'd include it.
This base is not available for purchase.

You would need to do some alterations for a bully:

Their muzzle slope down quite a bit more than the sculpts does.

Shows the progression of the bulls skull shape from the Old World bully to modern day.

Staffies arent supposed to have faces like that.

Bully breeds are supposed to have a lot of thick muscling around their skulls.
Your boy's staff is probably a mix or something if it looks like this head.
Not a bad thing I just really disagree that this looks at all like any bully breed of dog.
esp in the muzzle. Its way long. Totally wolfish
