I did my part and voted today, very proud that Illinois went blue this election! :D
By the way, I hope this isn't necessary to state, but I'll do so in case:
My political views are not up for debate. I've done my homework and support who I believe is the best candidate. (As everyone should do). Arguing over the Internet won't change my views. I just ask that if you don't agree with my views, to just be respectful :) I try not to shove my views down other people's throats, all I ask is the same in return :)

He actually doesn't vote, or hasn't. He doesn't really follow politics. We were talking last night, and he said he's for the person who will try to fix our economy and try to pull the country out of debt. To be honest, I'm thankful that he'd rather be an informed voter or not vote at all. His family is more conservative and mine is more liberal ( well at least my immediate family) I will at least say that I've been able to have decent discussions with his family and no one has ever been disrespectful though we have opposing views. Which I greatly respect. My aunts, uncles and cousins are not that same way :P (which is why I never get into political stuff at family get togethers, no point in it)
Darren is very level headed and even if he doesn't agree with something he won't bash you for having a different point of view (as long as people are not being rude to him) I'm with him on hoping that our country can start decreasing the debt and that our economy will improve. (I think in the end, that's what most of us want) I personally believe President Obama is the right man for the job, as things he's done have already helped me. I'm for the person who will look out for the majority of America, not just the wealthy. And I believe Obama is fighting hard to make things better for us. But that's just my opinion from what I've seen and researched.
