Hey guys, so sorry this is a day late. I had to work a double-shift modeling yesterday which left me just enough time to finish the page in my sketchbook, but not enough time to scan it or finish it up in Photoshop. But oh well, at least it's here now!
This page was fun because it gave me another chance to "show, not tell". That is, I had a chance to give a peak to the audience on what was happening, but Rod was still none-the-wiser until the very last panel.
Still experimenting with panel borders. This week I tried using a texture I made myself (it's just a scanned in blank page from one of my sketchbooks.) I wanted to see if I could make it look like a definitive border without detracting too much from the color-scheme laid out in the panels. I dunno.... It kinda all blends in, which is cool but not quite what I was expecting.
So who are these mysterious strangers? Tune in next week to find out!
