Chorale "In Dulci Jubilo", BWV 729, by Johann Sebastian Bach
1 minute 42 seconds
The version I first heard of this piece always reminded me of Christmas, so I'll use my rendition of it to kick off the season of Christmas music!
Originally performed on the pipe organ at Kirk O' The Valley Presbyterian Church, Reseda California. Recorded with a Stereo Walkman sitting on the music holder in the middle of the organ console. Then remixed in 4-track reel-to-reel studio with Moog Synthesizer and effects boxes. Best listened to with headphones.
Music composed in 1708 by Johann Sebastian Bach (public domain)

Thank you! And yes! I did know you'd like it!
I used to play an Allen at the church when I grew up...got to play a modern one here in San Francisco several years ago.
And who knows exactly what the future will bring? I will probably end up living much closer to Chicago!
