More D and Alucard. I just wanted to draw their pretty hair T_T
One of the nice things about animal characters is that they can snuggle in a purely platonic way, without being accused of some dirty relationship. Boys IRL cannot do that (not in this country, anyway). But girls can... double standard. Anyway, this principal extends somewhat to anthro. So, yeah... just brotherly affection.

I've kinda always thought that social standards bullshit was... well... bullshit. I mean, for example, when I was in Iraq and Kuwait, I'd see locals lay around on mats they brought along, basically squished together, or when they were holding hands... One of my sergeants held the hand of one of the locals as he escorted him to a different area... and all us US soldiers could do is crack on them and my sergeant for be gay and what-have-you. I dunno... that's not really the same thing as what's going on in this image, but it does vex me a bit as to how people aren't able to (in my opinion) show affection. I can't even rightfully hug people sometimes without them getting offended or uncomfortable. And sometime, a hug is the only way you can really convey a feeling. I dunno, I guess, I hate this lone cowboy horse shit that has become the male standard in society. Sometimes, I just don't feel like ripping the guys spine out for stealing my bus seat... yanno?
Okay, yanno, what.... whatever, I sidetracked something fierce... and, I guess this is something that bugs me about people in a America... No one can rely on anyone for anything (which has nothing to do with this image).
Anyways... the artwork here is really nice. You have a gift with the beautiful.

Interesting point about homophobia (as that's what we're talking about, plain old fear of same-sex intimacy) inside and outside of the furry community. I wonder if a pic like this doesn't set off alarms simply because they're animals and we're used to animals being platonically intimate, or if it's because this community has a higher threshold of tolerance for that which the rest of the society deems "too gay". I don't know; just wondering aloud.
ALSO, nice pic, i dig it.
