Oh while i'm at it, for help getting away from linework, use some liberty with shading, without using luminosity/multiply layers, paint it all on one layer, using opacity lock, and try looking at some rl photos for lighting/shading ideas - it's weird what color can do - i figured out how to get away from using any lines in my last commish, though i used lines anyways because he was paying for my style. But yeah. it's a challenge. OOOh, also - for dark colors, avoid using black, brown/blue/yellows etc to make black is hard but also a fun challenge. give it a shot.

No problem, it's a lot of fun. opacity lock is cool for painting too because you can start off using lines if you want, then fill the shape after it all looks good, then opacity lock the layer, then you can paint all the shading/lighting/colors on the piece and it won't mess up /blend away the edges. It's nifty~
