Octoma, bitch of the deep

Octoma (my little play on the term given to that lady that gave has eight children), is yet another member of the soon to be horror giant. Believe me, I thought hard of some fantasy creature but I just couldn't. So, I chose the octopus and I chose the blue ringed octopus because it just looks dangerous. Then I changed my mind on the rings and when with blue stripes.
I wanted her to look poisonous and she is very dangerous. Like those other members of the horror giant, Octoma is a resurrected human given a new form and purpose. She prefers to stay in the water but if she decides to leave the water, her octo-arms will change into human arms and legs as she comes out of the water.
If you're wondering where he mouth is.... just look underneath her.
Her is kind of like Unicron, isn't she. Reforming people into something better than they were.
I don't know what position she'll be on the giant but I'll worry about that later. When I started to make the next member of the giant, I stared out with a praying mantis. Then I thought, she don't look like a horror creature. Then I went and did this big fitted character based off of an Emperor Scorpion. As horrifying as she looked, I thought it's not for the horror giant.
That's when I thought of another giant that maybe could be Yvonne's (black widow: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4664135/ ) project. It would be her own insect giant. So I saved the manits and scorpion sketches for a later date.

That background is two previous ones I did. I took elements from both to make it. Nice and quick backgrounds. I'm glad I started saving background I make as unflattened PSDs. Makes it convenient to use them and to even make variations by hiding/rearranging layers when I need a quick background.
Just wait until, you see the pic I did for this past weekend. Not earth shattering but it looks very quiet, cold and serene. The characters add to it as they are holding each other while looking at the hill in the background.
Then there's twin headed dragon, and a few others.
Imagine if Her wants to fuck her violently, she'd have to swim up under the umbrella part of her and give a massive oral session.
I just wonder should I put the mouth for the human form.
This could be a very bulky combiner.
Instead of an octopus, I had started to sketch a praying mantis but thought "she" didn't look horror enough. So I then went to a emperor scorpion and as hoorifiying as she looked, it seemed to make the horror giant too insect-like. That's when it occurred to me. I saved the sketches for the mantis and the scorpion and decided to also have Yvonne make her own evil combiner or scary insects. The scorpion is practically ready to be inked.
