I redesigned one of my oldest characters, Arc, from the ground up. She isn't a grey lioness anymore, but is now a neko. The only part of her that is still "Arc" are her five head spots and the hot pink. Those were elements to her original design that I refused to let disappear.

The first image is of her in her child years, which is about the time she was first sold into slavery.

The second image is in her teens to late teens. She's currently a personal servant to her lord, and later ends up marrying him. (Which causes a huge uproar, let me tell you.)

The last image is in her adult years. By now she's no longer a slave, and has embraced what little of her heritage she knows. She regularly paints on her markings that she vaguely remembers her mother doing, and has raised her children to know what she knows.

I'd like to eventually move away from doing my personal characters as furries entirely, and if they do have animal traits, then they're more neko than furry.
