this may seem like a new character but to my boyfriend and myself it is not

we created a jackal/anubis character couple years back (we played Serious Sam alot together so with the dessert/egyptian theme we wanted to have a egyptian-ish character) and when we started to play Serious Sam 3 BFE it reminded us of her and how i probably only drew her like.. maybe once or twice back in the day.. and he really liked this character
soooo! we were both sold on that i should totally draw Isis again, so i guess in a way 'revived' this character

still working on it, been wanting to put egyptian like symbols on her and such so the idea on her back may change (not not totally getting rid of it since both me and my boyfriend love that design)
we are keeping the pattern around her eyes because we (more like my boyfriend because he is better at writing stories than i am or i'll just randomly tell him a little but of a story for a character so he can word it much better for me and add his own story into it ass well) came up with a little bit of story for it, that the symbols around her eyes allow her to be able to see the truth, no matter what
so mirages, illusions, and people trying to cover things up in a lie will not get past her very easily and she has no respect for liars what so ever.

in our own little world/story for her the pharaohs back in Isis's time it was common to have the need for at least one jackal/anubis with them in their court as they would become a great asset to them and they were always looked upon favorably by everyone.
even though they may not have been royalty they were sure treated as such for their very special abilities which they are born with.. and in a way almost treated godlike as at first it seems like it was rare when one was born with them (abilities are random so until they are born it is not for sure what powers they could possess)
so to increase the odds of these abilities only those with these magical abilities and traits were only allowed to breed with each other to highly increase the chances of a special newborn. for anyone with no special abilities that attempted to breed with the gifted ones they were quickly beheaded as they did not want these magical properties tainted.

there is a little bit more story for her but i don't feel like boring everyone and will perhaps save it for another time that plus might change the story i don't know, the whole character just seems to be a work in progress at this time since i kinda have the urge to work on her a little bit more

will get this colored soon as i can but i'm having one of those.. 'bad coloring days' where it just seems i cant get the right colors i want down.. bleh...
