after teaching skating, i taught her balance ;) grab arms like you're about to fight, then shove back and forth. lot of footwork and lower body strength. she learned fast since i'm 6ft and she was 5'3". i miss it...took my son to hit the ice for the first time today. as soon as i smelled the ice, i wanted my gear on soooo bad!!!
