Fur here is pinned in place so I can be sure I like the pattern (artistic freedom suit) ... now I have to sew it >_0 man I hate sewing heads.
Antlers also not painted yet, they are air dry clay over a wire and foil armature, super light and strong AND detach via magnets so it can be a normal sabre tooth.
No jaw yet, or eyes... or body....
But hey, look, shit is getting done! First head I have built in 4 months, my muse is finally feeling less hurt and sad and allowing me to be creative again.

He expressed an interest in horns, and as I experimented this is what the suit decided on, I went into this thinking springbok and instead I got deer X3
I love artistic freedom suits, they really do become their own character as I work because as I work I get to let things fall into place vs having to make things fall into place... the main thing that I really get to allow to be with suits like this is the expression, rather than having it decided for me and having to fight to make sure the suit comes out cute or sly or mean I let the suit decide what it wants to be as I work.
