This is one of the worst fads.
I'm all for piercings and whatever, I mean I have a lot of piercings. But I really don't understand the gauging stuff.
I like seeing little gauges, but I can't get over the fact that the ears are always going to have huge holes. And everyone I know in person, their ears always have gross earcheese and smell awful. And looks so bad without plugs.
I'm not attacking you or anything, actually if anything, could I ask why you like these? Do you just not care what it'll look like when these go out of style? I assume it's on par with tattoos. But for me I can't comprehend getting over the physical part.

I have special stuff for the smell so mine has a nice smell to them. I honestly think big stretched ears are sexy. They ear does shrink back in time, it helps when you have long hair to cover up the holes when you have them out. I love my ears the way they are, I have had sketched ears for years and I love the size I'm all now. My tattoos only have meaning to them. Yes, when I'm older they would look the same but when you're 70 who really cares? It's not a style I'm in, I'm myself and my ears were stretched before it was in style. I don't feel like you're attacking me so don't worry.

I think I'm going to ask everyone I see that has them, lol :D
Aside from everything you're a pretty lady. I love the septum piercing, I have one myself~ It's definitely my favorite piercing.

Just a sort of "did you know" thing. Some people actually get the gauges and such put in as a religious thing. Look at For example Bhuddism. Some practitioners work to elongate the ears to show their willingness to walk the path of the Bhudda. Who in all representations. Always has very long earlobes. but yeah. Personal preference is for everyone :D

Yeah I love my septum too, my medusa is my favourite though.
