I need to do a concept on how the Buster works later. I already have it thought. see those little things poping at the sides? those are high density heat lasers. they direct the laser into panels that go from small to big until it reachs the cannon side of the buster. after charging the energy some time, it releases like a strong, precise and sometimes big shot of energy that hits like an explosion. and that it can pierce through medium and light armor
since Dr Light designed alot of armors for X. X sure has a base model (his body). so he can get into any of these high tech armors made by light.
His right (or left) arm splits in parts and goes into the arm armor to leave space to the coming cannon. I should have painted the hand parts inside the arm of a different color.
also. his arms (from below the elbow) are detached to get the buster arms on. you can pretty much see that. since there's a big size difference between his unarmored and armored hand
