Don't you just hate being right?
My annual Alien-themed commission for Halloween, because Halloween means horror films and I'm still obsessed with this particular series.

I know both of them spent their Halloween working their fingers to the bone to get Rana's commission queue knocked out, and I know that Rana in particular put a great deal of time and effort into this, so please go give both of them some love and maybe a Watch if you would be so kind. They are both incredible artists, and as sweet as they can be.

Nope. That's the problem with being stuck on a spaceship when a xenomorph comes calling. There's nowhere to run. Poor Megan. But she managed to survive the encounter last year, so maybe she'll get lucky again!
I really like the lighting effects in this picture. Rana said she's not really familiar with the film, but she still managed to capture the right feel for a picture like this, I think, and it certainly does make the whole thing look that much more frightening. Megan's expression is incredibly well done, too, and I do love the mix of fear and revulsion Rana captured there.
And you're right. Ripley is never around when you really need her. She's probably out saving the damned cat again!
