I'be never been good at really expressing my gratitude verbally which is why I prefer to show it in my artwork. This is my first attempt at a shadow fox (as described by ShadowFoxLizzie :)
This figurine was quite fun to do: it gave me the opportunity to find out what layered hair is and how to form it^^, I mixed two new colours and it's my first fennec-like fox (as opposed to the red foxes depicted in my other works).
This is actually only the second figurine I ever made which has black as the base colour (it's very difficult to work with black clay without getting ugly dark smudges on any brightly coloured clay...). Though I'm not sure whether the snout turned out exactly right I am really satisfied with the form of the ears.
Ah, and since I am not sure whether it's discernable in the picture: she's supposed to be holding a quill and a sheet of paper^^
