So, against what I already thought, I actually did go out tonight for Halloween.
The church across the street was having a Halloween party thing for kids and I decided "fuck it, why not?"
So
and myself hung out for a bit and got free candy, nachos, popcorn...Oh, and I won a gift card to TJ Max :)
Also that lil dude in the lion suit was the only kid who wasn't terrified of me at first xD (all the rest of them backed behind parents before coming out)
He gave me a kees on the nose too xD
Happy Halloween

being a law school student, i looked into NC recorders, and there is no mention of furries, or fursuiters being classified as a gang. however there was a case in 2010 where a group of people were going around representing police officers on halloween, and threatening to arrest people if they didn't hand over the candy.
Dude nice! XD I went trick-or-treating wearing dress pants, a casual white shirt halfway tucked into the pants, 1 Combat Boot, 1 sandal, a giant afro, a tail, and a pair of ridiculous looking teeth.
Oh and an airsoft gun for no reaason.
I called myself Buffy the Fluffy Zombie Slayer

I would have done that here but I would probably been arrested due to being a older guy wearing a wolf suit going into a place with a lot of kids. Virginia has some of the strictest laws around and in order to go to a Halloween event, I would had to ask permission from the people who oversee the event and if I can go, I would probably have to stay away from the kids or keep my head off so the adults can see my face.
Yeah, the last time I was able to fursuit in public outside a furry con was at the Albany Kidz Expo in upstate New York in 2010 when I still lived up there but to fursuit around here in Virginia, it is a royal pain in the ass since you need to ask permission well beforehand and at times you may have to explain.
