Hm, I would have expected the name to have been spelled "Filly-ette" or "Filly-et" because the (normally correct) conversion of the "y" to "i" makes it look like "filet," something you don't want done to a pony.

I would have expected Luna to attend next week's performance of "The Horseshoe Maker's Holiday." It contains all the bawdiness and blue language she can appreciate. I would imagine she added a lot of classical drama to the theater schedule, like "Endymion" or "The Mare's Prize."

No, it's supposed to be a pun on "Romeo".

I haven't read "Story of the Blanks" (and from what I've heard about it I'm not interested), but "Roneo and Starlet" sounds like it might also be a pun on "Romeo and Juliet".

Roneo and Starlet are a reference to Romeo and Juliet.

Story of the Blanks is actually a flash game in the style of a old NES game, not a fanfic.
