Dyre Payne - No Background - T.a.N.k
Name: Dyre Payne (his mother was cruel)
Species: Dog/ Breed: Mixed (Mutt)
Age: 37
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 195 lbs
Bio:
Dyre was born to impoverished parents, and hails from Denver Colorado. His father left shortly after Dyre's 10th birthday, perhaps due to the strain of raising the boy. This left his mother, Dahlia to raise their son alone. During his teenage years, Dyre became involved with gang activities in the city. This led to his addiction to heroin, and further to the killing of his close friend "Tricks". Dyre was suspected in the murder case, but was found not-guilty--however, he was put into a juvenille detention and rehabilitation center for his addiction. Later, he dropped out of high school and worked hard labor jobs from the ages of 16 to 22. It was during this time that Dyre fell in love with Angela (Angie) Gomez: after a year of dating, the two married and Angie gave Dyre a daughter, Lucy (Lucille).
Dyre joined the Amontian Army shortly after his marriage to Angie, and was stationed at nearby Fort Haroldson (and obtaining his G.E.D.) He excelled quite quickly, and eventually was moved to a base in New York. It was here that Dyre was deployed as a field officer under Sergeant Edgar Dubois. During his tour, Dyre was awarded the Bronze Star of Courage for his honorable actions in the warzone. These actions gave him a favorable relationship with Sergeant Dubois who suggested Payne to General Leary for his project.
Dyre was a very late addition into Leary's unit, and was nearly overlooked by the general. Dubois pressed the situation for several weeks, causing irritation in his ranking officer. When Leary finally gave Dyre an interview, he was impressed by the man's determination, humility and willingness to follow orders, and he was assigned to the Paramilitary unit.
The new changes in Dyre's career made it difficult for him to visit his wife and daughter. During leave after his third year with Leary's unit, Angie discussed with Dyre the strong desire for separation. She wished to see other people--Dyre's absence left her lonely and constantly worried. Dyre, though heartbroken, agreed to the arrangement and later the two were divorced.
