Well,no one's been picked to direct yet as far as I know and I'm pretty sure they're gonna use Whedon for the Avengers sequel. Still,Disney does have fuck tons of talented people and a new Star Wars movie would have to be a major project to really make money,so I don't doubt they'll get someone good to direct it.
...still not sure how I feel about it. And the upcoming Episode Seven. this feels like a terrible idea... but then... Avengers.
Also, it's possible that this may be out of Lucas' complete control, which means he may not constantly tinker with it and kinda ruin it. Episodes 1-3 had the potential to be pretty good.

Funny thing is someone already did this. Drawn Together had an episode which featured Mickey as a dark lord trying to erase all smutty, un-p.c. and outright racist characters from existence (Foxy Love having been turned into a 60s animated black girl sterotype).
They couldn't get permission to use his name so what they did was have two characters call him by name and bleeped part of it out. Woldor goes "Huh, M****Y Mouse!" and then Captain Hero goes "Of course, no-one would ever suspect Mickey M***e!".
