A Scottish rabbit aims with his trusty bow and arrow. I felt like doing a cold, damp piece. Also, big thanks to Scraffic, jill0r, and Richard Bartrop for help showing me how to do shadows correctly. ;) Still not perfect yet!

Very awesome, but the white fur in the ears seem to look a bit flat...can't say why because i'm not an expert in art. o_o
The blur effects on the stones and the hills in the background look a little strange, I take it you used the smudge tool? Although the effect works rather well on the grass, and amazing job on the sky! ^^
Also I take it the bunneh doesn't know you pull the bow back with only your middle finger and index finger? XP
But other than that, awesome work!

I like all the muted colours. >.> Woulda been weird to have a polka-dot bunny in a gloomy place like that! ^_^ Very well done. Juuuuuuuuust a bit of advice? Do some research next time on the stuff you wanna draw that you're not familiar with. :3 Then there won't be any "That looks wrong," ya know? I don't mean to criticize in a bad way.
Danke!!! I usually don't use muted colors so this was new to me. :) I like how it came out. lol... polka dotted bunny. The person above said you pull back with your middle and index finger and he is. XD But oh well. :D Dun matter really. :3 Maybe he's a beginner bun-bun and hasn't learned how to use a bow and arrow yet! :D
Hey! Thanks for such a lovely comment. :) I'm seeing how the shading has an effect on people's opinions of the piece and I'm liking it! XD Shading/light sources is a weak spot of mine so I had a few artists help me with the shadows. Now I know more about correct shadows for my future pieces. :) Anyways, thanks for a great comment! *gives you a carrot*
Yea, I've done a little archery and the knock, or back end of the arrow is held between the first and second fingers. The string is drawn back by the very tip of the fingers. The third finger may be used, especially on bows with a heavy draw weight. Also, the arrow is normally at a right angle to the bow for maximum power. So for future reference, here ya go ;)
Nice use of detail. i love the fog in the background.

This is a nice image, the setting too is good and although I have some critique I feel it would be unfair to give it since it's all really finicky things.
I read through the comments before saying anything about the bow and although he's not holding it correctly I don't believe that matters. This is too playful an image for him to be holding the bow seriously. It reminds me of those photographs you get that photographers sometimes show of their models between serious shots and I like that about this image.
Just going to have a peek through the rest of your work now :)

I agree with others about the bow and arrow (you could say that he is notching an arrow and readying a shot) x3
But really thats not a big deal, the character that you have created looks awesome especially his fur colors. Tan, white and brown seem really work well together.
Sweet work
