More art from  WhiteGuardian Here we have Minato at Super Saiyan 3 this time preparing to launch his signature skill, Final Blaze Cannon, at full power. In case you're all wondering, he charges it and fires it in a similar manner as Vegito's Final Kamehameha.

It is possible for a Saiyan to break past the Super Saiyan 2 barrier and achieve an even greater level of power: Super Saiyan 3.

This form calls upon every drop of the Saiyan's potential in their blood, and unlocks a transformation that multiplies the Saiyan's power at Super Saiyan 2 by four. The hair also grows to a ridiculously long length, ending at their waist or upper thighs.

However, while this form grants the user incredible power it also has a major weakness. Because of the sheer power output, the Saiyan's energy reserves are depleted rather quickly in order to maintain this form. Even seasoned users of the Super Saiyan 3 form can barely hold the transformation longer than several minutes before tuckering out.
