I don't really consider it unfortunate. Dusty is a pretty common name, I see it a lot, your bound to have characters who have similar traits and the same name. I don't think anyone would get upset if two real life girls had the same name, dressed the same with similar hair and hadn't met each other before so it's a coincidence, so characters should be treated the same really.

I assumed other wise, because you wouldn't believe how often you get "Hey, this looks like x so you cant have this design!", or the same name, hair coloure, etc, when there's only one or two things alike XD

I just find it a bit silly myself considering how easy it is to have an almost exact same character with ought even seeing the other before. Although the worst I think is when they say it's a copy and they only have two things or less similar! Haha always a good laugh.

i've has someone do that to me when I used a base to create my character and they said that I was copying their pose xD

Well if it makes any one feel any better Dusty the Mare, is an Appaloosa mix, she does have blue eyes, but different shade...and she has a white blaze and black hair. So I don't think she is gong to feel you copied her...but then again despite the fact I've seen her several times and she is one of our locals, I really don't know her enough to say what her reaction would be.
