I have decided to take on the task of bringing my sons' fursonas to life. . . . . so after many hot-glue gun burns, a blister on a knuckle from repititious scissoring, and sooooooore hands. . . . I don't think it's TOO bad of a first attempt at foam, or ANY kind of head making. phew. One down, one more to go. My sympathy goes to fursuit makers, I cannot believe how many HOURS this one head took! ack! And then there is the paws, feet, tail, etc etc etc. *sigh* What did I sign up for?!?!?!?!

Today I made a special trip to Joann Fabrics to see if they would have those scissors. Not only did they have them, BUT they were also on sale for 50% off. Woot!
Thanks again for the advice. Totally new to this, as you know.
I really want to fur this guy now, and see how that goes! But I am going to go ahead and do the foam base for my other son's head first. Cause I don't want to get too far ahead on one and have the other one feeling like I am forgetting about him or something. All in the name of fairness or something like that. lol.
