Its the tactile sensations. Fursuits tend to be warm and very soft. And since the feet and hands are exaggerated often and so large It draws attention. And the claws Kids learn though the senses until they are shown other ways of learning touch is the first sense we tend to be born with we hear and we barely see but touch is a constant.
