I'm sorry I haven't been very active here lately. This has just been a slow time for me artistically. In the past two weeks, I've only been able to complete one comic page, and that's no way to do a comic that updates twice a week.

Have i ever told you how much i freaking adore your backgrounds?
They're just so detailed and green and alive. They really convey such a wonderful life and atmosphere that speaks adventure.
I love the idea behind this, Maggot is just so cheeky! her expression is actually to die for haha
And poor Jared...i don't know what to say other than, hope you don't get eaten by a snake, mate xD

And yeah, Jared does go through this kind of thing a lot. (Maybe I should have just called the comic "Hide and Seek With Maggot". Then again, that doesn't have a very good ring to it. XD)

hey, I didn't realize you had completed this! Maggot's expression is perfect for the playful child-like character that she is. She's so adorable when her eyes smile like that. The foliage kinda reminds me of camo clothing. I really like how you use speckles to create broken colors (not just in this piece), they heighten the expressiveness of the lineart. In a way, it's as if you already have your own defined style in coloring as well.
