Still Tacky!
CSXT 7887, a GE C40-8W, heads up the Q456 manifest train in a coat of Yellow Nose 3 paint so shiny, it couldn't have been more than a few days old. I was nearly blinded by the reflection as she went by! Parts that are almost never seen clean on most locomotives, like the trucks and fuel tank, looked brand new. Even the fuel gauge was given a new coat of shiny red paint! The road number looks like it is out of focus, but the edges of the numbers were actually a bit fuzzy--not the camera or image. Bonus points for catching the moon up in the blue sky! The only flaw in this image is the car transponder in front of the lead truck. D'oh! This photo was taken just north of CSX's Taft Yard in Orlando, Florida, along Orange Avenue.

Indeed! The last time I saw one even remotely this fresh was ironically at the same location, but on the WRONG side of the sun. x3 http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/sh.....spx?id=2966919 (Note the transponder that corresponds with the one in the 7887 pic!)
I also uploaded a photo of one of the new 'boxcar bracket' ES44AHs, just before this one. :3

You are referring to Bright Future, or Yellow Nose 2, I believe. http://www.furaffinity.net/full/2586681/ This scheme does look good, particularly when it is clean and on EMD widecabs, like the SD60M. :3
