I just started doodling while at a pizzaria during my lunch break. Did a little more, then finished it up today while on my lunch. I had no idea what the joke was going in, it just sorta manifested as I progressed.
I'd like to think it turned out fairly decent.

And tomorrow, more Ninja Nursemaid.

Just like when you were a kid, and you thought the monsters were coming out of the closet, or under the bed, you would pull the covers over yourself, as if that would somehow prevent them from acosting you anyways... I guess it does work.
