Well, the initial idea was that the character would appear on the screen (In a rectangular frame) do a simple animation, and then leave the screen. Since the rectangular stage was going to be the same for all the characters, I wanted the two to 'fit'. Thank you for the compliment on the face, I went a bit more japanese anime influenced for this portrait than normal. It worked well.

Thanks! The character's armor becomes blessed and takes on an emerald gemtone quality. I hope I conveyed that well

it does look enchanted, for the whole emerald thing i would suggest a (can't remember what colour emeralds are) hue
