Kachi was in a predicament. "...I can't possibly walk without waddling off-balance..." as each step caused him to wobble and sway. "This isn't practical at all! Though suppose if I..." He crouched gently, feeling the weight of his round hindlegs press down on his toes. With a gentle release, he sprung a few inches forward; landing on his toes and flailing his arms out to balance himself "Whooaaa! It worked!"
Steadying himself, he refused to acknowledge a curious tingle in his toes. The feeling of pressure squishing his toes into the ground to prepare for a jump, no...a hop felt better than it should. He wanted to do it again...but feared that he might enjoy it -too- much.
"...J-Just once more..." he told himself, crouching down a second time...odd; he certainly felt like he was pushing down more weight this time around. It had to be because he was comfortable putting more weight down for a higher jump. Yeah. With a curious leap, he released the energy in his feet and bounded a few feet forward! His landing was much better this time, arms outstretched with little effort. "Mmf..."
It wasn't his imagination...that when he peered down to see his tummy swelling; he realised the changes weren't finished! His paws fumbled down his front, where he gasped suddenly to find they'd slipped beneath a warm, velvety pocket! His attention was taken away for a moment as he turned to watch his hips widening and pushing him forward a little. "D-Dammit...just how far is this gonna go?"
His toes started to tingle again; craving the feeling of his newfound weight to push down and release into the air. Without a second thought, he crouched down and leapt forward a third time! He'd just about cleared a good five feet when he landed on crouched paws and soared forward again!
The sensation of leaping so high and feeling the wind whisk past his body was giving him quite the adrenaline rush. And with each leap, he began to cover more distance between landings. "I...I can't stop hopping...!" as a guilty smile crept over his face. "...I...I guess it's not that bad..."
