An old figure of mine I made back at my previous house, I designed this to be a major character in the fanfic I was writing, "Final Fantasy VII: Fallout"

As you can se in the title, he is the Alpha Weapon, the antithesis to Omega Weapon from Dirge of Cerberus. Alpha is the bringer of life, but how he brings it is not exactly..."good". Awakened only when the planet is in extreme peril and the White Materia is not used to save it, Alpha collects the entire lifestream and all the mako in the world-including that found in living organisms-and compresses it into the "Life Seed"-the giant piece of materia in his chest. Once all life has been exterminated and the surface of the planet has been re-terraformed, he releases the Life Seed, which sinks undergroudna nd starts life anew, and Alpha "dies" in the process, goign deep underground as well until he is needed again.
