I didn't use refs for anyone he dressed up as (except the one of him dressed as Sephiroth, which will be posted when I get less lazy), but no, not for Stitch. Though I did spend all last night pausing the movie and drawing from that so I got about three hours straight of practice drawing him from reference, I'm sure that had something to do with the...accuracy?
