Matt Mason, US Space Marshal
"Around Luna City and across the Final Frontier, there's just one way to handle the killers and the spoilers, and that's with a U.S. Space Marshal and the smell of...MOONSMOKE!"
Inspired by William Conrad and cast of the 1950s radio drama "Gunsmoke", I came up with this Halloween costume. Since I never actually got a chance to use it on Halloween, and since I'd won a portrait session with a professional photographer in a silent auction at a "Buddy Walk", I decided to combine the two. Came out rather nice, if I do say so myself. :D
The outfit, incidentally, is a masterpiece of improvisation. With the exception of the nametapes and marshal's badges, it was based entirely on stuff I already had on hand...

Very well done. I can't help but want to add just a teeny bit of ageing light to it. ya know..to kind of look like one of those old Wanted posters from the wild west. That however is just me, cause that's the feel i get from this picture. Which is a good thing. Okies, i'm done babbling now ^^
It's a rather obscure Lazer Tag clone called the "Remco Phaser Sweep":

Bought a couple of these new twenty years ago at the height of the Lazer Tag craze. Interestingly enough, this thing was cross compatible (i.e. it would work with the original Lazer Tag targets, etc). So, it's been kicking around my collection until I swapped out the IR LED for a bright blue one from Radio Shack, and now I use it for cosplay...
