I need to learn how to take photos as awesome as yours...

Haha, I've been plowed over more than a few times by the dogs in my attempts to get on their level for cool shots!

What kind of SLR camera are you using now? I just got one but damn if I'm not having a hell of a time getting action shots with it... lol

I'm still getting the hang of the one I just got, but its a Canon Rebel T1i. In this set that I took today I way oversharpened the images so they look grainy and bad, but I am too lazy to fix them, lol.

When I don't want to think too hard, I will use my old Rebel XTi, lol. What model of camera did you get? I use the AV setting with the image setting on RAW, and then I will also use the action setting sometimes.

Mine was a gift. It's a Sony Alpha A550, 14.2 MP.

It's got an "action" setting supposedly good for fast movements in bright light, but I'm still getting used to it... lol

Does it have ISO settings you can play with? I'm not familiar with that type of camera, but if it is a point and shoot type you probably need a realllly steady hand or a camera stand for it to take nice shots.

I mean to take REALLY nice action shots, not nice shots in general, lol.

Yeah, I think I can put ISO on manual when I need to. It's definitely not what I'd call a point-and-shoot. My little PowerShot A550 was a point-and-shoot. lol

I'll have to play with it some more when the weather is nice I guess.

Lol My first "nice" camera was a Kodak Powershot! Sometimes I miss the simplicity......
