If anyone can ID this snake please let me know D: I think this was a type of viper or rattler snake. I did adore the grey eye it has.

Looks like a timber rattle snake. i left San Diego in 2002 have not been home since but i grew up at the zoo I remember when they used to have the "reptile house" With the Komodo dragon in the middle of it.
