-You have to be watching me to participate.
-You have until Thanksgiving Day to enter. That means the giveaway ends on Thursday, November 22, 2012. (just in case you're not familiar with US holidays).
-No mature references, please. I'm not going to do adult pictures for this, so adult references aren't really necessary. ^^;
-You don't have to have a specific character design to enter. If you want to give me a general description (with full artistic license on the design, of course) then that's fine with me. I like playing around with characters. :)
-I'm only giving out prizes for one tier at a time. As an example, if we get 20 participants (tier 2) then there will be just one winner and they will receive just one prize. I'd love to give out prizes for every tier, I really would, but I'm simply too meticulous for that. I'd much prefer that one person receive a nice prize to 7 people receiving icky, rushed prizes. Plus it *is* free to enter, so you're not really losing anything if you don't win.

Now things get interesting...
The prizes from here on are based on tickets. To put it simply, each prize from each tier is worth that tier's number in tickets. So if you have 2 tickets, you can choose one prize from tier 2 or two prizes from tier 1. Make sense?
It's kind of like arcade tickets -- if you earn tickets at the arcade, you can spend them however you want at the prize tent. Real money is a nice stand-in as well. If you have $20 at a clothing store, you can buy a $20 pair of jeans or you can buy 2, $10 t-shirts. Just think of the tier numbers like money: wonderful, delicious, completely fake money. :D

How I'm Going to Choose the Winners
I'm going to go through the list and pick out the characters that I like the most. I would use a random number generator, but I've had bad luck with them in the past. I'd much rather hand-pick the characters that I feel like drawing rather than end up with a group of characters that I'm just not that interested in.
That being said, don't feel sad if I don't pick you! I don't "hate" your characters or anything. It just means that I'm in the mood to draw something else. Sometimes I want to draw dragons and sometimes I want to draw people. It's just how my inspiration and mood goes. Everyone has their own tastes.
How to Improve Your Odds of Winning
I'm drawn towards the following types of characters:

-Unique dragon designs. I've seen dragons with cheetah-like bodies thousands of times on DA so... show me something new! Dinosaur dragons are pretty neat. P:
-Unique anthro designs. Bees, rhinos, etc.
-Characters with simple, yet unique, designs.
-Unnatural colors are awesome as long as you don't go overboard.
-Something where I could throw electrical schematics in the background and not have it be totally random. Why? BECAUSE. >:C
I.. proooobably won't choose these types of characters.
-Anime characters.
-Ordinary animals.
-Ordinary humans.
-Fan characters.
-Overly complex characters. I'm talking about characters that have 50+ colors and 90+ markings that will take me 4-5 hours to replicate in flats.
-Any sort of textwall. Yeah, I know that's kind of hypocritical after I wrote this mess of text BUT it really isn't necessary to tell me your character's whole backstory just so that I can draw an icon of them. Short descriptions like "She's had a bad past, but she's generally happy" are fine.

Friendly and kind, usually quiet when she first meets someone, but once she gets comfortable around them then probably will not shut up. At the same time she can be a great listener and always loves to help others, not liking to see them upset. She can be rather sarcastic and spunky when she's in the right mood, but can also turn on you if you push the wrong buttons. Merida is mostly quiet though and prefers to be with a small group of friends and/or family then big crowds. If not with someone then usually found alone. She loves music, which she listens to through her headset - also using it to talk to her friends. Other then that her interests include reading, drawing, roleplay, flying, hunting, animals, death and many other things.
