This is this year's first episode of The Frozen North, a comic strip I do for my school's newspaper. Episodes are published monthly with the print issue; we only release of printed magazine a month because we lost a ton of our funding so all our content is online to save on printing and distribution costs. The plus side is that now I only have to worry about a monthly deadline, instead of chugging out a strip every week.

My partner in illustration, Kelsey, is responsible for the magnificent coloring here. We were under pressure for this episode, so it's not as detailed as it could be/has been, but future episodes will look positively glorious because she works magic with GIMP.
